Senan Of Somerset

In the darkness I seek the light
Yet in the bright sunshine I seek the shade
In the cold I seek the warmth
Yet in the heat of the day I seek the cool
In silence I listen for any sound
Yet in the noise I seek the silence
In anger I seek the peace
Yet in boredom I seek passion

In age we seek eternal youth
Yet the young seek to look older than their years
In loneliness we seek company
Yet in a crowd we seek solitude

I am imprisoned and yet in perfect freedom
I am abandoned yet loved
I have so far to go and yet to travel is the goal

I am empty yet I am full

I am lost so I seek a vision
Now I have a vision but I seek only to be led.
